Figment Software Limited is the brain-child of London-based enterprise software developer Graham Williamson.
Something of a work-in-progress for over two years, the company officially formed in May 2007, harnessing a wealth of experience provided by it's consultants, who have worked with leaders and innovators in a variety of industries including: investment banking, software development, retail and charity.

Graduating from The University of Glasgow with a First Class Honours degree in Computing Science, Graham Williamson accepted a graduate position based in London with global investment bank Goldman Sachs International as a Software Analyst/Developer. In this role, Graham interfaced with London, New York and Tokyo trading desks both in the Equities and Fixed Income & Risk buy-side areas.
After working with Goldman for several years in a variety of roles, Graham accepted a role with Smart Technology Solutions, a market-leading software company that deliver innovative Smart Card solutions through strategic industry partnerships, such as IBM and Fujitsu.
Having worked with STS through a great many projects, Graham moved back into the world of finance as Lead Developer at American Life, the life insurance arm of AIG (American International Group). Here Graham managed a five man team in the delivery of a multinational group risk quotation application, "MBS", from inception through to completion and post-implementation.
Graham enjoyed greatly all his employed experiences, but found he longed for the flexibility, excitement and challenge of creating his own freelance IT consultancy. This dream was finally realised when Figment Software Limited was formed in May 2007.

The photo was taken from the top floor of the River Court building and overlooks Fleet Street. A partial sky-line of London can be seen in the background as well as the impressive Reuters building. The photograph was taken by Tilke and shows (left to right) Bruno, Ash, Tilke, Graham, Gareth and Brian.
